From the Southwest side of San Antonio, TX, Swanny Ivy (born Kevin Swanson) colored outside the lines. Nothing is black or white, but 10 shades of gray in between. This mentality followed Swanny into his passion of songwriting as every line was blurred, every genre challenged with boundless style fusions.

With inspiration from alternative rock bands like The Used and My Chemical Romance fused with eclectic rappers like Kid Cudi, Swanny has developed a sound that can't easily fit into one genre. Although the "labeling" can be complex, the listening comes easy.

After shaking up his hometown with BIG BAG, a music video consisting of members of the former collective Ivy Music Group, Swanny went on a solo spree. After releasing the timeless (and nude) POISON IVY music video along with back to back albums NEON COCAINE and NEON COCAINE II, Swan set himself apart from the rap scene in a major way.
